My FM appoints Cornel Fernandes as Cluster Business Head

My FM, touted as the largest non-metro radio station, has recently appointed Cornel Fernandes as Cluster Business Head – West. Fernandes was last working with Rajasthan Patrika as an AVP and Regional head – West. Prior to that, he was with the Bhaskar Group.

Commenting on Fernandes’ appointment, Harrish M Bhatia, Chief Executive Officer, 94.3 My FM, said, “We are happy to have Cornel Fernandes on board. The My FM team is eagerly looking forward to work with Fernandes and gain under his leadership.”

Elaborating on his role at My FM, Fernandes said, “I look forward to focusing on marketing and other initiatives that will add on to the brand value of My FM. I am confident to get ample opportunities to showcase my talent and expertise. I am excited about the new upcoming challenges and responsibilities and really look forward to value-add and support the team.”

In the past, Fernandes has been associated with other media houses like Hindustan Times and Living Media. In a career spanning over a decade and a half, Fernandes has been actively involved with business management, activations and media sales.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
