Mathrubhumi Group's Club FM 99.6 goes on air in UAE

Club FM, the radio division of the Mathrubhumi Group launched its fifth radio station, and the first overseas, in UAE.

The station will be aired on the frequency 99.6 fm and will offer authentic and edited news and round-the-clock entertainment and music programmes to the Malayalee diaspora.

Youth heart-throb Dulquer Salmaan in his role as the brand ambassador is the face of the newly launched station.

The launch function was attended by DulquerSalmaan as Chief Guest, along with P V Chandran {Managing Editor}, M V Sreeyams Kumar {Director- Electronic & Media}, P PSaseendran {News Head}, P S Shree Kumar {General Manager} and K R Pramod {Chief Manager-Public Relations} along with other company officials.

Club FM 99.6 sports the tagline Ton Kannakkinu fun meaning ‘tonnes of fun’. Instant Coffee from 5-6 a.m. dishes out positive energy and music. This is followed by Kalakkan Recharge (6-10 am), IshtamullaPattu Live (10-1 pm) offering call-on-demand songs, Break free (1-2 pm) with charming music, wishes to celebrities, stars and celebration of special occasions, Dubai-centric Life is Beautiful (2-4 pm), tea time show Ready Steady Po (4-8 pm), Music Mojo  (8-10pm) radio version of unplugged music show on Kappa TV, Arikey (10 pm-1 am), for the nostalgic Malayalee, and Happy Journey (1-5 am), a feel good programme.

Speaking on this occasion, Shreyamskumar said, “Club FM is a sunshine brand, cherished for its zest, positivity and humour, and Club 99.6 will also share the same qualities. We have assiduously channelised our efforts in envisioning this product for UAE, which is a good market for FM. We are sure that our new endeavour will strike a chord with the young and among Gulf Malayalees.”
