In.com launches live online radio, Artiste Radio

Web18’s horizontal portal In.com on July 28, 2011 launched ‘Artiste Radio’, a 24x7 live radio with dedicated channels across genres. The launch unveiled 10 stations dedicated to 10 different artistes that included actors, singers, and music directors, from across India.

Speaking on the creative concept behind the first-of-its-kind online radio, Amrish Sethi, Content Head, In.com, said, “Artiste Radio celebrates the life and work of great artists of Indian cinema. The idea is to bridge the gap between fans and their favourite celebrities along with uninterrupted streaming of hit songs. It’s primarily about music, with a host of additional features like anecdotes, trivia and interviews of the artists, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It will be an ultimate destination for music lovers, where they can discover more about their favourite artists.”

In the months to come, In.com plans to add more artistes and features to Artiste Radio.
