IMRB RADIator ranks Bhaskar Group’s My FM as Jaipur’s No. 1 FM channel

My FM, Bhaskar Group’s FM channel in Jaipur, has been ranked the No. 1 FM channel there, according to an IMRB RADIator study. My FM has 51 per cent share of the market in Jaipur, compared to Radio Mirchi’s 33 per cent and 16 per cent for the other FM channels like Radio Tadka, Radio City and Pink City.

My FM’s Station Head, Siddharth Jha, said, “These are very encouraging numbers for a three-month old station.”

This was a My FM commissioned study that was executed by Indian Marketers Research Bureau (IMRB) for the period between August 10 and 21 in Jaipur, conducted at 15 traffic junctions.

It may be noted that Radio Mirchi has been speaking of its leadership position based on similar research in this market. When asked about the study, Jha said, “The result of the survey was from a particular period to a particular period. However, what one must note about this study is that it is an efficient indicator of what is working and what isn’t. With the results, we know that with the viewer, both the station’s content and marketing is clicking and that makes a difference.”

The study also shows that My FM programmes like ‘Khichadi’ and ‘Masti Ki Pathshala’ have rated high amongst listeners.
