I&B Ministry to allow FM broadcasting in universities

The Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry is planning to embark on a radio revolution and permit FM broadcasting in universities, IITs, IIMs and residential schools.

According to sources, small frequencies would be allocated to such educational institutions to commence radio services.

Along with this, the Ministry is planning to set up museums on films, broadcasting and the print media.
