Hello FM to shift sales/marketing functions to Mumbai; relocates B Shankar, VP-Sales, too

Hello FM has decided to shift the base of its sales and marketing functions to Mumbai for better results. Consequently, Sales and Marketing Head, B Shankar, is also being relocated to Mumbai to explore new business opportunities across India.

Commenting on the development, Rajeev Nambiar, President & Chief Operating Officer, Hello FM, said, “Our initial plan was to base our sales team in Mumbai. But unfortunately that got delayed due to various reasons. Now that we have launched all the seven stations in Tamil Nadu, we have relocated Shankar to Mumbai to explore new business opportunities.”

“Mumbai being the centre of the advertising business in India, I believe that national advertisers would be able to contribute 50-60 per cent of the total advertisement revenue of Hello FM,” he further said.

Hello FM would soon set up a full-fledged office in Mumbai.
