Hello FM, Big FM and Radio Mantra announced the launches of their new stations in the week gone by. While Hello FM announced its presence in Coimbatore, Radio Mantra began operations in Ranchi. Big FM also announced the official launch of its station in Mysore.
Hello FM launched their fifth station, which will go on air from November 5. The station is already airing in Chennai, Madurai, Tirunelveli and Tuticorin.
Rajeev Nambiar, COO, Hello FM, said, “The launch of this station will provide an excellent platform for advertisers all over India to effectively reach their target audiences down south through radio. Large and small retail establishment will get a boost as they would start witnessing the power of radio and the experience of being active in a professionally managed electronic medium.”
Hello FM is also planning to launch its stations in Trichy and Pondicherry soon.
Radio Mantra has announced the launch of its eighth station with its Ranchi FM station going on air. Commenting on the launch, Rahul Gupta, Director, Radio Mantra, said, “Radio Mantra has been entertaining the people of Ranchi for a week now (with its test runs), and the response to the channel has been more than overwhelming.”
Radio Mantra has promoted the Ranchi launch with a print and outdoor campaign. The station will also embark on a road show to create buzz in the city as well as to initiate FM culture there.
Adlabs-promoted Big FM has announced the launch of its 37th station in Mysore. Big FM will launch eight more stations to reach the target of 45 stations by the year end.
Sabita Kath, Director – South, Big FM, said, “The programming and content have been created to ensure relevant and credible information to our listeners. Utilities, such as traffic, weather updates, time checks and health tips have been designed to optimise the listener’s time management and health.” This is the first private radio station in the Mysore.
