Big FM in future mode, unveils its human touch

92.7 Big FM has unveiled what is touted as India’s first ever ‘human-touch interface’ radio application for listeners. This radio app has been launched with actor Manoj Bajpayee and Prakash Jha, producer-director of upcoming movie ‘Aarakshan’.

The Aarakshan team selected their favourite songs on this futuristic ‘touch-interface’ radio app, thereby taking radio into a new realm of technology and personalization.

This ‘human-touch’ interface app will be experienced by audiences through the live radio booths hosted by Big FM across high footfall areas to enable listeners of the FM station to select songs of their choice and beam it directly to the studios of Big FM on the fly.

Touch Screen is an innovation launched by Big FM for the first time in India across the markets of Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata. This product enables audiences at a public place to select their favorite music track to be played on Big FM. Once the track is selected, the listener will be alerted via SMS, 20 minutes before the song is played on air.

Soumen Ghosh Choudhary, Business Head, 92.7 Big FM, said, “As touch screen enabled gadgets permeate our daily lives, radio also needs to push its boundaries with its listeners. The first ever ‘human-touch’ interface radio app by 92.7 Big FM is also designed to build a more intimate connection with our listeners and fans in select physical locations across the country. We are extremely proud of being the pioneers in bringing technological innovation in the radio space. We are also thankful to Prakash Jha and Manoj Bajpayee for launching this unique technology and sharing it with our fans.”
