Big FM Goa and My FM Bhopal celebrate first birthdays with a slew of activities
First birthdays are always special, and My FM Bhopal, which completed one year on May 27, and Big FM Goa, which completes one year on May 28, are out to celebrate the occasion in style.
My FM’s birthday bash is spread over four days. As part of the celebrations, the FM station invited couples celebrating their first anniversary or their child’s first birthday to a special party. On May 28, the FM station is organising a cookery contest for ladies as part of its ‘Chandani Raatein’ initiative, while on May 29, various adventure activities like a professional stunt show and bike racing contests have been planned.
Speaking about the birthday celebrations, Harrish M Bhatia, COO, Synergy Media Entertainment Ltd, said, “My FM’s success in Bhopal is all because of the people of Bhopal, who have always been supportive and have made My FM such a popular station. The birthday celebrations are nothing but a display of that affection and involving our listeners in all that we are a part of.”
Meanwhile, Big FM Goa too turns one in style. The FM station has conceptualised the ‘Big Goemkar Awards’, which acknowledge the achievements of young Goans, who have made contributions to the state or have brought recognition to it through their deeds.
The station rolled out detailed on-air and on-ground initiatives to promote the 12 nominations for the Awards, starting May 19 and running through May 27. The Awards have been launched by Big FM in association with ‘The Navhind Times’ and supported by Prudential Group Real Estate Developers and Madame Rosa. A grand presentation ceremony would be held on May 28.
Manisha Tripathi, Station Director, Big FM, said, “Big believes in involving its listeners in any celebration and the ‘Big Goemkar Awards’ is part of our endeavour to add value to the lives of our listeners and live our brand-line of ‘Life Banao’ as well as encourage the youth to come forward to undertake acts that make them the pride of Goa.”
