Big FM Chennai disburses information on how to save taxes

With the Finance Minister streamlining the tax slabs and the financial year end round the corner, everyone is looking at various tax saving and investment options. In order to help listeners make the right choices and simplify the tax payment procedures, Big FM Chennai has embarked on ‘The Big Tax Week’ from March 10-15.

Big FM Chennai has roped in some tax experts who would interact with the listeners daily from March 10-15 during the morning drive-in show ‘Big Vanakkam’, where every day one topic related to tax and investment would be chosen and discussed threadbare. On March 15, an entire session on how to save taxes and how to be a smart investor would be held at the Big FM studio, where a chartered accountant and an investment consultant would interact with select listeners to guide them and help them plan their finances in an effective way.

Listeners can also listen to the experts on tax saving and investments at Big FM’s podcast service at Listeners can also call the station and register for the tax planning and investment session to be held at the Big FM office in Chennai on March 15.

Elaborating on the initiative, P B Ramaswamy, Station Head, Big FM Chennai, said, “The average citizen is so confused with so many tax saving options that he/she needs some expert to guide them appropriately. To help our listeners, we are glad to bring experts on-air and host programmes that would help people in making the right investment decisions. It is our commitment to provide content which is informative as Tamilians are known to keep themselves well-informed. I am confident that this initiative would be well received by our listeners.”
