The Guwahati station had started its test run from April 12 and it officially went live on air on May 2. RJs Hansie, Sujitha, Mandira and Nirmali are hosting the shows in Guwahati.

Commenting on the Guwahati launch, Sudev Dutta, AVP East, BIG 92.7 FM, said, “We have been receiving very encouraging responses from all the cities where we have launched so far. We are very excited about launching in Guwahati and we would like the tunes of BIG 92.7 FM to echo across the length and the breadth of the city. The programming mix of the station has been put together after much research and understanding of our listeners’ requirements.
