AIR Resources revenue touch Rs. 13.38 crore

AIR Resources, an independent project centre of Prasar Bharati drawing its strength from rich infrastructure, human resources and technical expertise of AIR and Doordarshan has earned a record revenue of Rs.13.38 crore in its first year of operation.

AIR Resources has been providing turnkey solutions in setting up FM transmitters to government and private organizations. It has recently signed an MOU with the IGNOU for setting up 40 FM stations for Gyan Vani Channel. It has also formed up agreement with private FM broadcasters in Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow and Chennai for sharing Prasar Bharati infrastructure.
