‘Radio City MQ’ reaches final stage; overwhelming response for Mumbai round

‘Radio City MQ’ has reached its last destination Mumbai, after its rounds in Delhi and Bangalore. The final round in Mumbai will be held on October 12, and the Mumbai league contest has already received an overwhelming response, with reportedly more than 100 registrations.

On Ocotber 12, teams will compete for the Mumbai regional finals, which will be followed by the national mega finals. Delhi’s top scoring teams Evalueserve and Equinox, and Bangalore’s top scorers BizTruss Integrated Services and Wipro Technologies, will battle it out with the top two teams from Mumbai in the mega finals.

“We have received more than 100 entries for the Mumbai regional event already. With still two more days to go, we expect it to break the Bangalore and Delhi record. We expect very high number of entries for the event,” said Rana Barua, National Head-Marketing, Radio City.

Corporates like Yahoo! India, Zapak, Heinz India, Future Media, Madison, RBI, Walt Disney, Midday, Zee Entertainment, Network18, Asian Paints, MTNL, Raymond, Cinemax, Eli Lilly, ICICI Bank, Mitsubishi, Mudra Communications, IMRB, Indian Oil, Maxus India and The Hindu Group have already confirmed their participation.

On-the-spot registration will take place till 5.30 pm on the day of the event. Elaborating more on the response received, Barua, added, “This is year one for ‘Radio City MQ’ and we have already connected with almost 300 top brass corporates in India. The response and participation has been superlative.”

The elimination rounds conducted on October 12 will witness four Mumbai teams qualifying for the regional finals. Two top scoring teams from the regional finals will then move onto compete with the top scoring teams from Delhi and Bangalore where a total of six national teams will battle it out at the grand finale of ‘Radio City MQ’.
