Vaishnavi to handle media relations and corporate communications for Rajasthan Royals

Vaishnavi Corporate Communications has been assigned the media relations and corporate communications mandate for Emerging Media and Team Rajasthan Royals. Vaishnavi will commence work with immediate effect and continue till the end of the second season of Indian Premier League in June 2009.

Vaishnavi will be responsible for the public relations and complete media management and dissemination of information on Emerging Media and Team Rajasthan Royals of the Indian Premier League. The primary team at Vaishnavi Corporate Communications would be based in Mumbai, supported by their entire branch network across the country.

Emerging Media is the owner of Rajasthan Royals, the Champions of the inaugural IPL Tournament in 2008. Emerging Media is a media and sports rights owner and concentrates on owning and developing innovative programme formats for the Indian market over cross media platforms of television, Internet and mobile. Rajasthan Royals, along with seven other best T-20 teams, will be participating in the Champions League to be played in India from December 3-10, 2008.
