The PRactise to handle communication plans for Corel Corp in India

The PRactice has been appointed to handle the communications plans for Corel Corp in India. Corel is a leading developer of graphics, productivity and digital media software with more than 100 million users worldwide. The company’s product portfolio includes recognised software brands like CorelDRAW, Graphics Suite, Corel Paint Shop Pro, WinZip, WinDVD and iGrafx, among others.

Commenting on the account win, Nandita Lakshmanan, Founder and CEO, The PRactice, said, “The PRactice had recently participated in a competitive pitch for Corel and won the account. We believe it is our agility, in-depth research on the industry and analysis of the competitive environment, coupled with a creative and structured approach to stakeholder communications management that enabled us to win this account.”

She further said, “The scope of work will include brand building in India, creating product awareness and loyalty, coupled with direct consumer communication programmes.”

The PRactise commenced its operations in January 2000, with their headquarters in Bangalore. The agency offers a wide range of services in media relations, marketing PR, issue management, internal communications and various other aspects of PR to formulate a holistic PR plan. Their clients include Microsoft IDC, Microsoft GTSC, Microsoft Research, Microsoft MSN, Qualcomm, British Telecom, AvesthaGen, Infosys and McAfee, among others.
