Text 100 sets up generalist PR agency, Vox

Technology PR consultancy, Text 100, has set up a wholly owned generalist PR consultancy called Vox PR. The new entity has commenced operations from August 1, 2006.

Vox will offer public relations consulting and services, including media, analyst and influencer relations, and communication solutions for both internal and external publics for corporate brand building, new product launches, issues management as well as crisis communication.

Giving the reason behind setting up Vox, Zacharia James, Managing Director Vox Public Relations and President Text 100 Group-India, said, “The PR industry in India is undergoing a phase of rapid growth and is steadily maturing. Incidentally, Text 100 is in its 10th year of operations and witnessing strong growth. We felt that the time was just right to explore additional avenues for growth and invest in a brand that would allow us to offer our services to companies outside the technology sector.”

Headquartered in Delhi, the new PR firm also has offices in Mumbai and Bangalore, with a staff strength of 14.

James further said, “A successful PR campaign is based on a deep understanding and appreciation of the client’s objective and goals, and is underscored by a strong partnership approach. For us it’s very important to work with companies that appreciate this, realise the true value that PR can deliver, and are committed to the process and discipline as much as we are.”

People, the work culture and global methodologies are some of the strengths that Vox will draw from Text 100. “Text 100’s biggest strengths are its people, its work culture and its proven, global methodologies that ensure a consistent, high quality PR experience for clients. Any company that works with Vox PR can be rest assured that it will get a world class PR consultancy and execution experience unmatched by others in this industry,” James added.
