SBI Mutual Fund, a joint venture between Society Generale Asset Management (SGAM) of France and SBI, has shortlisted three PR agencies for its account.
Sanjay Bhattacharjee, Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, SBI Mutual Fund, said, “SGAM has a 37 per cent stake and enjoys presence in 20 countries. Its overall asset base is $330 billion.”
Bhattacharjee further said, “The three agencies shortlisted for the account are Adfactors, LinOpinion and Sampark. The finalisation will be done by next week.” “The account size is of Rs 25 crore,” Bhattacharjee added.
He said, “We enjoy a very good heritage of an association with SBI. We have employed resources to do research and based on market intelligence reports, we want to take the market by storm.”
“There is a plan to carve out a very youthful, agile brand image for SBI Mutal Funds and we are sparing no efforts to achieve the same.” Dwelling further on SBI Mutual funds’ performance, Bhattacharjee said, “Three of our funds are top performers in the market.”
“The intention is very clear – to be among the top 5 Mutual Funds players by end of this year,” he said.
