Sampark Public Relations beefs up its core management team

Sanjay Rammoorthy, Bureau Chief, Sahara Samay, Mumbai, has moved to Sampark Public Relations, Mumbai, as Senior Vice-President, Corporate. In addition to this, industry veteran, O P Thomas, is slated to join him as Senior Vice-President – Technology and Finance.

“With these senior level additions to its core management team, Sampark will significantly strengthen its capability and positioning as a strategic communications consultancy. It will also strengthen three of our practice areas – corporate, financial and technology,” said N S Rajan, Managing Director, Sampark.

Rammoorthy is a seasoned communications professional with over two decades of rich experience in journalism, advertising and PR. He has worked with several big media groups starting with Ananda Bazar, Business India, Mudra Communications, Ogilvy and Mather; his last assignment being Bureau Chief, Mumbai with Sahara India Parivar.

O P Thomas’ career is a blend of journalism and PR with tenures in Times of India, BPL Mobile, Hanmer & Partners and Financial Express to name a few. Prior to joining Sampark, Thomas was Director, Strategy, at Percept Profile, a specialist in corporate public relations.
