MSLGroup beefs up team in Asia with strategic new hires

MSLGroup, the strategic communications and engagement consultancy of Publicis Groupe, has announced a series of strategic new hires in Asia.

The 16 appointments are aimed at further strengthening MSLGroup’s capabilities in Asia within corporate advisory and reputation management, marketing communications, financial communications, public affairs and social engagement across India, Greater China, and Singapore.

Some of the significant strategic hires include:
Amit Misra, Executive Vice President and Director of Public Affairs, MSLGroup in Delhi
Rekha Rao, General Manager, 20:20 MSL in Mumbai
Gaurav Trivedi, Managing Director, CNC in Delhi
Lusha Niu, Director of Financial Communications and Corporate Advisory, MSLGROUP in Shanghai
Lan Jie, Director of Marketing Communications, MSLGroup in Shanghai
April Chang, Director of Learning & People Development, MSLGroup in Taipei
Fu Yumei, Senior Associate Director of Healthcare, MSLGroup in Singapore

Amit Misra will be the overall market leader for MSLGroup in Delhi and the Practice Leader for Public Affairs across India. In addition, he will work in close conjunction with 20:20 MSL in Delhi for business development, talent training, key client relationship management, and providing public affairs counsel to clients.

Rekha Rao’s key responsibilities include operational performance, growth, profitability, talent management and client engagement.

Gaurav Trivedi, who has joined CNC earlier this year, has been promoted to the position of Managing Director of the Delhi office, where he looks after management consulting, corporate affairs and financial analysis, and works closely with MSLGroup in India.

Other India appointments include: Rahul Lakhpati, Account Director, MSLGroup in Mumbai; Hitesh Malhotra, Group Account Director of Social Hive, MSLGroup; Nischinta Amarnath, Associate Account Director, 20:20 MSL; and Madhavi Mukherjee, Associate Account Director, 20:20 MSL.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
