Metigon Enterprises has commenced its South operations with offices in Chennai and Bangalore. The agency has also appointed David Francis as Director, South to head the South India operations. Former Chennai Head of Ketchum Sampark, Francis will spearhead Metigon’s public relations and public affairs business in the southern markets.
Francis brings more than 16 years of experience in strategic communications, having worked as corporate and brand communication heads in companies and PR agencies. Having managed campaigns for clients in corporate, technology, healthcare, automobile, real estate and lifestyle sector, Francis will spearhead Metigon’s business development operations in the southern markets of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telagana and Kerala.
Commenting on Francis’ appointment, Aarif Malik, Chief Operating Officer, Metigon Enterprises said, “We’ve waited for us to find the right time and person to shoulder the responsibility of South India operations. David has proven capabilities in establishing profitable branch operations, and has demonstrated team development and client handling skills. We think he is the right person for the job. The Bangalore and Chennai branch become two key markets added to Metigon’s branch office network in India, taking the network to five branches and 42 associates. Francis’ appointment comes on the heels of another senior appointment recently when Joydeep Chakraborty joined Metigon as Vice President of Delhi operations.
Established in May 2012, Metigon’s public affairs business has a portfolio of clients from country’s leading political parties and politicians, industry bodies and associations, and corporates.
