Metigon opens shop in Pune; Suman Sharma made Branch Head

Metigon Enterprises has commenced its Pune operations and has appointed Suman Sharma as Branch Head. Sharma, formerly with Ketchum Sampark, will spearhead Metigon’s PR and strategic communications business in Pune.

The Pune branch adds another market to Metigon’s PR branch office network in India. Sharma’s appointment comes on the heels of a series of senior appointments earlier, when Aarif Malik, COO, and Sandeep Sarkar, Account Director, joined the agency in the last quarter.

Commenting on Sharma’s appointment, Nikhil Gerard, Managing Director, Metigon Enterprises said, “Metigon is seeing dynamic growth in a competitive market, and we’re sure that Suman’s expertise and insights in PR will help Metigon develop the Pune market.”

Sharma brings on board seven years’ experience in Corporate, Hospitality, Realty and Consumer PR verticals. She has devised communications strategies for companies across sectors, including Kirloskar Brothers, Airtel, Bajaj Auto, H&R Block, ElectraCard Services, Hindustan Unilever, Varroc Engineering, Philips, Amway, Swatch Group, HCC, Citrus Hotels, Courtyard by Marriott, Royal Orchid, and general interest TV channels.

Established in early 2012, Metigon offers integrated services, including image management and marketing communications, content creation, strategic public relations, marketing promotions, social media campaigns and interactive advertising campaigns, under public relations services.
