LINOpinion, the public relations wing of Lintas, seems to be on a business blitzkrieg. The group has bagged a host of prestigious new accounts including the likes of CII, Sri Lankan Airlines, Dalda, Mahanagar Gas Limited, Wärtsilä, Hindustan Sanitaryware, Hero Motors, Pidilite, UK Modi Group, Sara Lee and Aventis Pasteur. Many of these wins have resulted from competitive pitches.
An official release, claiming the business success of the agency, quoted Ameer Ismail, President, LINOpinion, as saying, "While most traditional Indian PR agencies offer media relations, we go beyond. We look at a brand holistically and provide communication services depending on the stage of its lifecycle. LINOpinion's USP is the ability to deliver to its clients a through-the-line communications solution through a single window."
LINOpinion has also set up a full-fledged in-house creative and media team. "We are currently working with clients to develop world class design and creative concepts. Increasingly clients like Bunge, Mahanagar Gas and Venus Jewels are using our services for devising corporate identity programs, advertising campaigns, brochures, audiovisual films and exhibition stalls," the communiqué quoted Ismail.
Anticipating the increasing need for providing integrated PR campaigns to ensure enhanced trade and customer-connect, LINOpinion adopted a strategic expansion policy in its service offering, early this year. Ashish Bhasin, Director - Integrated Marketing Action Group (IMAG), Lintas, elaborated in the statement: "In addition to media relations, using the LINOpinion window, clients can access other divisions of Lintas."
LINOpinion has also significantly expanded its presence this year beyond the existing three branches in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. The network now includes Chandigarh, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kochi and Pune. With a large affiliate base in all key mini metros, LINOpinion today enjoys an unparalleled agency network with reach across the top 23 Indian cities.
