Intex Technologies India Ltd, which had called for a creative pitch last week, is now on the lookout for a PR agency. Mutual PR is the incumbent agency, which will continue working on the account till March 31, 2009. Mutual PR has been handling the account for the last two years.
Naved Chaudhary, Senior Marketing Manager, Intex Technologies, told exchange4media, “Getting a new public relations agency on board will lead to fresh thought process desired for the comprehensive growth of the brand.”
Commenting on the pre-requisites for selecting a new PR agency, Chaudhary said that the agency would be working as a communication partner on brand building activities such as advertising, events, online, outdoor and electronic media campaigns.
He further said, “It is also extremely important that the agency believes in bringing the desired gamut of deliverables and should focus on the quality rather than quantity of coverage done. The PR agency should have a pan-India presence.”
“Our brand and marketing team will be working in close coordination with the creative, PR and media agencies to strategise objectives to make Intex explore new avenues. Since, we would be extending our reach and portfolio in mobile phones we need to work around achieving larger sales objectives and strategies to drive growth,” Chaudhary added.
It may be noted that the media mandate is currently being handled by Delhi-based Alliance Advertising, which is headed by Arshad Nizam.
