Greenways F&B assigns PR mandate to i9 Communications

Pune-based Greenways Food & Beverages, part of the Pushpam Group, has awarded its pan-India PR and marketing communications mandate to i9 Communications.

As per the mandate, i9 Communications will help create a go-to-media strategy, along with creating visibility and preference for the brand through media and non-media activities.

Commenting on the development, Dr Sachin Chopda, CMD, Greenways F&B said, “We have entered the Indian market with a strong product and brand portfolio and look to compete with some of the largest brands in the food FMCG category. Our appointment of i9 Communications has taken into account their strengths across geographies in India, strong processes, prowess in the category having represented similar brands and a strong team. We are confident that with this partnership with i9 Communications, Greenways Food & Beverage brands will break the clutter in an already crowded and over-communicated market.”

Subhash Pais, Founder and Business Head, i9 Communications added here, “The food FMCG sector is a very interesting and fast growing sector in India. i9 Communications has a very interesting client roster in this particular sector, and our appointment on the challenging Greenways F&B mandate positions us an expert when it comes to F&B/food FMCG communications.”
