GoDaddy, a technology provider dedicated to small businesses, has appointed Bite to handle its PR duties as it continues to expand its brand in India. Bite’s India remit comes shortly after its appointment as GoDaddy’s US agency in February, followed by a multi-market mandate which now includes Europe. Bite’s brief for India includes strategic planning, campaign management, content creation and influencer relations.
The Bite team will focus on positioning GoDaddy as a partner of choice for small businesses wanting to build and improve their digital identity. GoDaddy is currently running an integrated campaign with actor Mithun Chakraborty to educate small businesses in India about the real-world benefits of getting a Website. The campaign includes two TVCs, along with search, display, email and social media marketing. Bite will work directly with GoDaddy’s India marketing team and in close alignment with Susie Penner, GoDaddy’s Senior Director of Public Relations, who is based in the US.
