Bata India appoints PR Pundit as its PR consultancy

Bata India Ltd has appointed PR Pundit as its PR consultancy to take on its corporate and brand communication responsibilities. PR Pundit will be responsible for strengthening the Bata brand and highlighting its contemporary and youthful product range.

Announcing this, Manoj Chandra, Vice President - Marketing & Customer Service, Bata India, said, “PR Pundit’s robust experience in lifestyle retail positioned them as our preferred choice. Their understanding of our brand integrated seamlessly with our foreseeable plans. Given the complexities of the retail marketplace and our diverse portfolio of products, it was crucial to select a creative and passionate team to partner Bata in our growth endeavours.”

Reacting to the win, Archana Jain, Managing Director, PR Pundit, said, “Bata is an iconic brand, much loved by consumers across the nation. We are really excited to work with the Bata team and look forward to developing innovative and impactful PR campaigns for them. Our clients look at us as consultants and more importantly, powerful allies for their brand. Our mandate is to continue to build the brand equity of India’s oldest and most recognised footwear brands and enhance its affinity among the young consumers. We look forward to a successful relationship with Bata India.”

Under the agreement, PR Pundit will manage the overall corporate and brand communication programme for all Bata’s brands, namely: Marie Claire, North Star, Weinbrenner, Bubblegummers, Hush Puppies, Power and the mother brand Bata.
