Avian Media to handle PR mandate for GoAir

GoAir has appointed Avian Media as its communication partner. Avian Media will be responsible for implementing the airline’s integrated public relations campaigns and for promoting GoAir and its services across India.

Go Airlines (India) Pvt Ltd is the aviation foray of the Wadia Group. The airline had launched its operations in November 2005 and is positioned as ‘the Smart People’s Airline’.

Commenting on the appointment, Edgardo Badialli, CEO, GoAir, said, “We had been looking for a PR agency that could help us promote GoAir with strategic communications support and deliver truly integrated campaigns across India. We are glad to find that agency in Avian Media, which demonstrated such an in-depth understanding of the business we are in and also shared our passion equally.”

Avian Media will provide with strategic public relations counsel as well as media relations. The agency will also provide industry comment for senior spokespersons together with market analysis.
