ArcelorMittal assigns public relations mandate in India to Ogilvy PR

ArcelorMittal has appointed Ogilvy Public Relations to look after their public relations in India. Ogilvy PR will provide full range of public relation services, including public affairs, corporate PR and special event management. The account will be led by Ogilvy PR Delhi with support from the agency’s national and international offices.

Anjali Kumar, General Manager-Communications (India), ArcelorMittal, said, “Ogilvy PR’s mandate is to strengthen the communication on our presence in India. We chose Ogilvy PR because of their seamless national and international network, impeccable corporate reputation stewardship and expertise in communicating the value of a company.”

Commenting on the account win, Meenakshi Bhalla, President, Ogilvy PR in India, said, “We delighted to have ArcelorMittal on board. India is a critical and strategic market for ArcelorMittal. For several years now, Ogilvy PR has established credentials, familiar with the complexity of a metals industry. We will now be looking to go beyond traditional PR, with a team that knows how to create thought leadership campaigns and link those campaigns to concrete results.”
