All India PR Conference returns to Chennai after 14 years

Chennai chapter of Public Relations Society of India will play host to the 29th All India Public Relations Conference. To be held on December 13-15, the Conference will see the participation of over 250 PR practitioners from all over the country.

According to an official communiqué, the national PR event was being organised in Chennai after 14 years. “While the core focus would be on ‘Public Relations and Infrastructure Development in India’, PR communication and branding would also be within the realms of presentations and deliberations,”' said R K Dharan, National VP (South), PRSI, and Conference Chairman.

“Public relations is an emerging profession today, having great bearing on how states, governments, corporates, planners and nations engage their communication, propaganda, dissemination of information and even brand building across people and media. Information gap and lack of foresight to anticipate and read people’s minds is the root cause of any dissonance and PR practices alone can bring in a win-win solution to any issue,”' added Daniel T Dass, Chairman, PRSI, Chennai Chapter.

The three-day Conference will see some of the eminent personalities from the industry sharing their thoughts on PR and branding.
