The New Indian Express appoints G S Vasu as Editor

In a recent development, The Indian Express has announced the appointment of G S Vasu as Editor. Prior to this he was Resident Editor of The New Indian Express in Hyderabad.

An announcement made by Manoj Kumar Sonthalia, Chairman and Managing Director, The New Indian Express said, “We are happy to announce the appointment of G S Vasu as Editor of The New Indian Express from today with immediate effect. An old hand at Express, Vasu joined the group in 1987 and has been Resident Editor in Hyderabad with managerial responsibilities as well. As Editor of TNIE and Sunday edition he will be based in Chennai.”

The New Indian Express is an Indian English-language broadsheet daily newspaper published by the Express Publications and based in Chennai.

It also publishes Sunday Standard from New Delhi. Express Publications (Madurai) Limited also publishes Tamil daily Dinamani , Cinema Express (Tamil), Malayalam Varika (Malayalam) and Sakhi (Kannada).
The company is owned and managed by Manoj Kumar Sonthalia.
