Speculation rife about Senthil Chengalvarayan leaving Network18

In the week that passed, the media industry has been rife with speculation about Senthil Chengalvarayan Editor-in-chief for Network18 Business Newsroom’s who is said to be leaving Network18. Highly-placed industry sources too indicate a possibility that Chengalvarayan will be moving on from the Network18 Group in his current role as Editor-in-chief for Network18 Business Newsroom.

In his current role which he took on in July 2013, Chengalvarayan works closely with  editorial heads of Network18's  pint and web publications.  He has been with the group for over two decades now and was earlier the President & Editorial Director for TV18 Business Media, and was earlier the Managing Editor for CNBC-TV18.

AP Parigi Group CEO Network18 and Senthil Chengalvarayan did not revert when exchange4media reached out to them on the matter.

When Reliance Industries took over Network18 and TV18, it has been learned that he has sold his stake in both the companies estimated at around Rs 1.20 crore.
