Sourav Majumdar takes on new role of Managing Editor of Forbes India

Sourav Majumdar has moved on from his role as Editor-in-Chief of Entrepreneur to a new role as Managing Editor of Forbes India.

He had joined the Network18 Group as Editor-in-Chief of Entrepreneur, a magazine for entrepreneurs and their businesses, in January 2012. In addition to heading Entrepreneur, Majumdar was also associated with Firstpost.com.

Majumdar leverages a rich experience of 18 years in key editorial positions in financial dailies. He has worked as Resident Editor, Kolkata with Business Standard and Deputy Executive Editor, Financial Express, based out of Mumbai.

He has covered the financial markets and corporate sector extensively and was also responsible for several special projects at The Financial Express such as FE Best Banks, FE-500 and FE Round Table Series in both, print and television. He has also had a stint in the corporate sector as Group Head, Corporate Brand Communications at RPG Group.
