Snapshot of Print advertising trends in Q1 2007: AdEx study

The Print segment saw a 4 per cent growth in ad volumes in Q1 2007 over Q1 2006. Publications from South, West and North zones constituted 87 per cent share of the ad pie. While ‘Services’ sector got the largest share of ad volumes, one of the fastest growing sectors in Q1 2007 was Telecom products. Educational institutions remained at the No. 1 position in Q1 ’07. Maruti Udyog jumped from Rank 10 to Rank 1 among advertisers.
