SB Media launches National Dunia, a Hindi daily

SB Media launched a new Hindi daily, National Dunia, on March 30, 2012. The newspaper will be circulated in Delhi, NCR and Ghaziabad.

Maharana Pratap Group Institution’s Secretary, Shailendra Bhadauria is said to have invested in National Dunia.

Alok Mehta, Chief Editor, National Dunia, confirmed the development to exchange4media. Mehta has earlier worked with publications such as NaiDunia and Outlook.

Commenting on the new publication, Mehta said, “Today, Hindi newspaper readers are very conscious when it comes to choosing their morning paper. We will meet their requirements by providing infotainment and unbiased news.”

National Dunia consists of 16 main pages and four supplementary pages. It has a cover price of Rs 3.

The four-page supplement that will accompany National Dunia will be dedicated to health, education and entertainment. This will be an everyday affair with the exception of Sunday when a 48-page magazine consisting of current affairs and infotainment will be circulated with the newspaper without any extra charge.

The publication is using the outdoor and digital medium for its promotion. Hoardings will be put up and pamphlets will be distributed in the Delhi, NCR and Ghaziabad region.

Official website and e-paper will also be launched shortly.

The paper is available on the stands.
