samachar4media to conduct workshop on changing format of media

In extension to Media Manthan Award, samachar4media is organising a workshop on ‘Changing format of Hindi and regional media: prospect and crisis’. Many media giants will participate in this discussion scheduled to take place on March 22, at the Metropolitan Hotel, New Delhi.

The workshop has been divided in two sessions, i.e. Print Media and Electronic Media.

The session on print media will discuss and debate the possibility and crisis of expansion of print and regional media. Industry leaders such as Senior Journalist, Rahul Dev; Shashi Shekhar, Editor-in-chief, Hindustan; Shravan Garg, Group Editor, Dainik Bhaskar; Alok Mehta, Editor, Nai Duniya; Ajay Upadhhay, Editor Amar Ujala; Dilip Mandal, Editor, India today will be present.

The topic of discussion in the electronic media session will be ‘Hindi and regional electronic media: news and fight over rating’. Senior media professionals such as Punya Prasoon Vajpayee, Consultant Editor, Zee news; Senior Journalist, Sanjeev Srivastav; Ashutosh, Editor-in-Chief, IBN7; Satish Singh, Editor, Zee News; Vinod Kapdi, Managing Editor, India TV; Ajit Anjum, Managing Editor, News24; and Sudhir Chowdhry, CEO, Live India will gather to share their views.

There will also be a session on marketing and advertising called, ‘Growing market of Hindi and regional media but still looking for profit’.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
