Sahara India Pariwar’s Urdu daily, Roznama Rashtriya Sahara, will launch a Bangalore edition by July 7, followed by a Chennai edition a month later. Both the editions would be printed in Bangalore.
Roznama Rashtriya Sahara already has its presence in Delhi, Patna, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad. Sahara India Pariwar would soon come up with few more editions of the newspaper.
“We have plans to come up with editions in Bhopal, Jalandhar, Jammu or Srinagar. The printing for Orissa edition would be done from Kolkata. All these expansion plans would be complete by the end of this year,” said Azeez Burney, Urdu Media Head, Sahara India Pariwar.
Roznama Rastriya Sahara has a circulation of over a lakh copies in the existing eight markets. The Urdu language channel from the Group was also expected to come up by the end of the year, added Burney.
The promotion campaign for the edition would be done through in-house print media and TV channels. The Bangalore edition would be priced at Rs 3.
