Rajiv Verma completes one decade at HT Media

Rajiv Verma joined HT Media as CEO in 2004. Under his leadership HT has taken giant strides in various businesses - be it growing the vernacular segment with Hindustan or creating major national brands – Mint, Fever 104, Shine.com. Verma has been responsible for the focus on new business, like events and key marketing solutions, Ad for Equity, and Education, as well as major international collaborations with partners such as Virgin Radio, Burda, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post.

Rajiv Verma brings with him over 24 years of cross-sectoral experience with companies like Hindustan Lever, Nestle and Whirlpool.

A Mechanical Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering, he is also a member of the Kellogg alumni advisory board of NorthWestern University.

Verma’s international experience spans South-East Asia and European geographies, having worked with Whirlpool in Thailand and with Nestle in Philippines and Switzerland. He began his career with Hindustan Lever as a Management Trainee. He left HLL to join Nestle, where he spent over 12 years handling various portfolios from project management to turning around operations in Philippines.
