Rajeev Dubey appointed as Editor of Businessworld

Rajeev Dubey, who was Executive Editor of Businessworld magazine has been promoted as Editor. He will take on this post from 4th August 2014. He takes on the editorial reins from Prosenjit Datta, who will soon be exiting in his role as Editor, BusinessWorld.
Dubey has been Executive Editor of the magazine since 2009. Prior to that, he was the magazine’s Deputy Editor.

Commenting on this development, Annurag Batra, Chairman, Businessworld said, “Change is a constant process. It creates opportunities for all stakeholders and must be welcomed and benefited from. Prosenjit has done a great job leading Businessworld in last few years and led its transformation.  He has created a great editorial team and the last eight months of working with Prosenjit has been a rewarding experience. He is someone who with his tremendous experience will carry on the great work that Prosenjit has done and build on from there.”

The production house has already established itself as the leader in the non-scripted genres. However, Rege now wants Endemol to achieve the same in the original scripted zone and film production
