Rajasthanpatrika.com celebrates Raksha Bandhan with #SelfieWithSister contest

Rajasthanpatrika.com, the digital arm of the Hindi newspaper Rajasthan Patrika has launched a contest to celebrate Raksha Bandhan and the bond between brothers and sisters.

The #SelfieWithSister contest invites people to upload pictures of their sisters and themselves onto various social media. The entries with the most number of likes will later be featured on the newspaper on August 29, Raksha Bandhan. Contestants are encouraged to write messages to go with their images.

The contest aims to find a more modern way of celebrating the festival. The website is hopeful that it will also be a way for brothers who stay in other parts of the country or the world, to show their love. 

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
