Rajasthan Patrika has launched its fifteenth edition from Pali in Rajasthan on April 28. The edition comprises 24 pages including 10 in colour. An official communiqué stated that the newspaper endeavours to have one edition in the radius of every hundred kilometers in the state. Rajasthan Patrika enjoys a readership of 72.78 lakh (NRS 2003).
According to ABC, the newspaper has registered a growth of 1,67,472 copies in one year (average net paid circulation for December 2002 vis a vis December 2003), without including the Ajmer Edition. “This growth is a result of well thought out strategy and successful promotional plans but even more so it is a result of tremendous quality upgradation, product innovation and content quality enhancement,” the release stated.
The Pali edition will cover Rani, Sadari, Falna, Sumerpur, Shivgunj, Bali, Sirohi, Pindwara, Swarupgunj, Ravedar, Mount Abu, Abu Road, Ahaur, Jalore, Bhinmal,
Sanchor, Raniwara, Sojat City, Sojat Road, Jaitaran and neighbouring area.
