Pepsi Foods Ltd. is coming out with a high-voltage television campaign featuring two superstars, Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar to promote its flagship brand Pepsi in February 2002. It is for the first time that Bachchan and Tendulkar will appear together to promote a brand on the television screens.
Meanwhile, Pepsi is all set to launch a new ad campaign to promote its Mirinda Orange flavour, in the beginning of January 2002. The communication will carry forward the ‘Taste pe atka...taste immersion’ brand platform of Mirinda.
According to company sources, Pepsi plans to roll out a slew of marketing initiatives in Mumbai, which will centre around cricket matches in 2002.
