Outlook to launch Hindi edition

Did Outlook, the weekly current affairs magazine, take a cue from the latest NRS figures about the increasing Hindi readership figures? Or was it a case of matching up with competition?

Whatever the case be, it's launch time for Outlook! Not a launch of another English Outlook in a new avatar, but a Hindi Outlook.

While Maheshwar Peri, Publisher, Outlook, confirmed the news of launch to exchange4media, he refrained from delving into any other specifics. Market expects the launch of the Hindi version of the magazine somewhere in mid-August. What is also expected, is the likely attractive pricing of the magazine at Rs.5.

If the market buzz is to be believed, it's going to land up the competition in a rather tricky situation; not that the Hindi current affairs market would already be in a catch-22 situation, with the news of the Outlook Hindi launch!
