Mid-Day gets Rakhi Sawant to lunch with Maxus employee

Mid-Day had launched a ‘Mid-Day Bollywood Lunch Contest’, wherein the winner could get an opportunity to win a lunch date with a Bollywood star at the winner’s office. The same contest was instrumental in getting Rakhi Sawant to lunch at a winner’s office at Maxus in Mumbai.

The contest was kickstarted with presenting sponsor Eros International promoting its movie ‘Buddha Mar Gaya’, which released on August 17. Shawn Chandy of Maxus Mumbai, a GroupM entity, won this contest and had a lunch date with Rakhi Sawant in his own office premises, along with his colleagues.

Abhijit Pradhan, Director-Sales & Marketing, Mid-Day Multimedia Ltd, commented, “Today’s workplaces have got swamped with stress and pressure owing to fast-paced work styles and crazy deadlines. Mid-Day as a brand believes in easing the pressure, and spreading the message of ‘make work fun’. The property ‘Mid-Day Bollywood Lunch Contest’ is one of the initiatives that we have launched.”
