Mid-day’s Sachin Kalbag to be Editor of The Hindu’s Mumbai edition

Sachin Kalbag, Editor of Mid-day is all set to join The Hindu Mumbai edition. He is slated to move to The Hindu next month.
The Hindu’s editor Malini Parthasarathy has confirmed the launch of the edition in Huffington Post. She said that the edition will have more lifestyle and entertainment content for young readers, but will not be hyper-local, and that it will be a national edition with a similar structure as the Delhi addition.

Kalbag joined Mid-day in 2011 and as Editor of Mid-Day and Sunday Mid-Day, he is responsible for all of the editorial content in the two newspapers in addition to being editor of Mid-day.com

From 2008 to 2011, Kalbag was Senior Editor at Mail Today Newspapers. He has also worked with Hindustan Times and DNA. 

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
