Media Tranasia will be launching design and interiors magazine ‘Casaviva’ in January 2009 under a licensing agreement from the Mondadori Group of Italy. Priced at Rs 100, the magazine is targeted at women in the 24-44 age group. Anubha Charan has been appointed as Editor for ‘Casaviva’ India.
The content of magazine focuses on high end interiors and also on the home as the ultimate status symbol, providing inspirational ideas and cutting edge concepts from the design capital of the world. The content will be a rich mix of some of the world’s most sumptuous interiors. ‘Casaviva’ is a B2C magazine and plans to create its own space and category and redefine the segment.
Piyush Sharma, CEO and Publisher, Media Transasia India Ltd, said, “Over the last three years, we have successfully bought five international titles – ‘Blenders’, ‘Maxim’, ‘Travel & Leisure’, ‘Better Homes’ and ‘Child’ – to India, each of which has captured their respective markets successfully. We have good reason to believe that ‘Casaviva’ would be a grand success.”
A three-phased launch has been planned for the magazine. The communication will pass through various mass media communication channels, which include print, electronic and on-ground activities, all of which would be done in-house.
Commenting on the response that ‘Casaviva’ had got from the advertisers, Rahul Sharma, Director - Ad-Sales, Casavivia India, said, “The magazine has received unprecedented response from the advertisers. We are looking at making ‘Casaviva’ a grand success in the interiors and design space.”
