Parle Agro and Everest Communications have finally chosen a Mumbai-based collegian to don the role of Digen Verma in `reel' life. However, not until September 2001 will Parle introduce the real Digen Verma to the world-and then it will be done in style. The company had in fact shortlisted three collegians before zeroing in on the final choice.


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
