Malini Parthasarathy denounces changes in The Hindu’s weekend edition

Malini Parthasarathy, former editor of The Hindu, who stepped down last month, has criticized the changes in the weekend edition of The Hindu in her latest tweets.

Parthasarathy tweeted, “So soon after my exit, the content of @the_hindu weekend edition is so badly mauled. What were meant to be full feature pages now truncated.”

In her next tweet she added, “We had one full page for longer narrative labelled Ipso Facto& one full page for cinema-Wide Angle.  Am disappointed to see these abandoned.”

The tweets kept the micro-blogging site abuzz with some negative and positive feedback from her followers.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
