Malayala Manorama launches ‘Watch Time’ magazine

Malayala Manorama has launched ‘Watch Time’, a magazine dedicated to watch lovers. It has partnered with German publisher, Ebner Group for the same.

The new magazine will feature premium and prestige watch brands from across the world.

Talking to exchange4media, Varghese Chandy, Senior General Manager, Malayala Manorama said, “Watch Time is a niche magazine. We have partnered with German publisher, Ebner Group, which is 100 years old. I think we have the right partner. We are getting good response from watch lovers and advertisers.”

This will be India’s first exhaustive watch magazine with an international partner and will have insights from experts and legendary watch writers such as Joe Thompson, Editor-in-Chief of Watch Time USA.

Neha S Bajpai is the Editor of the Indian edition.

Men and women have enormous interest in mechanical watches. This magazine will help them know more about watches – their design and technology, shared Thompson.

“As of now, the content of the magazine is 70 per cent from US and 30 per cent from India. We hope our readers in India enjoy the magazine,” he added.

Planned as a quarterly, Watch Time India’s first edition hit the newsstands on July 1, 2012.
