Jwalant Swaroop steps down as COO of Lokmat Media

Jwalant Swaroop, Chief Operating Officer, Lokmat Media has decided to step down from his role. But, he will continue as an advisor and will mentor the future leadership for the group. He will also be looking after the business growth.

Talking to exchange4media, Jwalant Swaroop said, “I have spent 20 years of my life in Lokmat Media and whatever I am is because of Lokmat.”

Rishi Darda, Joint MD and Editorial Director of Lokmat Media Limited said, “Jwalant Swaroop is moving from his current role to a more strategic one. He is always going to be closely associated with the Lokmat Group in a consulting role, as he completely understands the brand and has actually built it up over the years.”

Swaroop has been associated with Lokmat since 1992 and had been handling the advertising and sales operations. In June 2011 he took charge as COO and was overseeing all major operations of the business. He has been in the print industry for more than 24 years.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
