Jagran Prakashan Q3 net up 32.5 pc at Rs 52.64 cr

Jagran Prakashan has reported 32.50 per cent growth in its net profit at Rs 52.64 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.

In a prepared statement, Mahendra Mohan Gupta, CMD, Jagran Prakashan, remarked, “I am pleased with the overall performance of the company. The growth in the top line was led by advertising revenue.”

The company further informed the Bombay Stock Exchange, “The total income of the company has grown to Rs 286.03 crore in the December quarter from Rs 226.91 crore in the year-ago period. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 39.73 crore in the October-December quarter last fiscal.”
